Today, we’re thrilled to present Dr Aida María Díez Sarabia, an AXA Postdoctoral Fellowship recipient at BIOSUV research group, CINTECX, Escuela de Ingeniería Industrial (Universidade de Vigo), whose project aims to revolutionize green energy generation.
Dr. Díez Sarabia’s groundbreaking research focuses on generating hydrogen as a green and renewable energy source, by utilizing agroindustry wastes as raw materials for the synthesis of catalysts for water splitting, promoting a circular economy approach and significantly reducing the environmental impact of waste.
This innovative approach not only addresses the rising demand for new energy sources due to exponential population growth, but also promotes a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for our energy needs.
